The Wheely Slow Cooking Tour Event Graphic Recording by @sambradd

I just came across Samm Bradd, a graphic recording artist. Sam’s style is refreshing and easy to follow.

“In 2011 my cousin Julia Spitale (@juliaspitale) and Shera Kelly packed up their curiosity, wooden spoons and guitars and went on a cross-Canada farm tour. They wanted to know more about what was happening with food – who’s growing it? what are some of the issues? what can be done? They visited 30 farms, played shows, interviewed farmers and are now using this information to inform themselves and others. In April 2012 they organized a followup event at W2 with a series of local panelists to share knowledge and resources.

I graphically illustrated “The Wheely Slow Cooking Tour Event” for them. Many thanks to Zack Embree for the photography. This graphic recording is approximately 6 feet across and I drew during the event. It took about 1.5 hours to complete.”

Great work Sam! You have a new fan of your work.

About The Author

VisualNotetaking.net Curator

I have been a fan of visual notetaking for a long time now but it wasn't until recently that I decided to actively use sketchnotes and visual notes for capturing important information from the meetings I attend, books I read and education I receive. My "full time" endeavors - I am a business marketing consultant, speaker and author. Why did I create this blog? I wanted a place to collect and share some of my favorite internet finds in this awesome, creative world of visual notetaking.
